We have had lots of courgettes and peas form the allotment lately thay are yummy

I have been using Studio calico Documentary kit non stop since it arrived, I love the balloon stamp, I can see me using that lots on cards and layouts.

I have been feeling yuk these last few days with a cold, but have managed a couple of layouts with the Studio Calico soda fountain kit, I love it, it is so bright and sunny.

Hoping I feel better tomorrrow so I can get down to the allotment, the weed are just going crazy, we have a few tiny courgettes but the slug have already starting having a go at them.

We have been to the allotment today and bought home some goodies - a cabbage and some strawberries Yay! everything else is looking really good so hopefully a bumper crop this year.

I have been having a nightmare week thanks to my new kitchen which should have been finished yesterday but we still have no appliances in, and our new fridge freezer has been stolen from the depot. I just want to be able to cook again, and get the dining table out of the living room.

Here are a few layouts from the last few evenings, I have set myself a mission to go back through all my Studio Calico kits and try to do a layout from each past kit before the next kit arrives, first - fly a kite second - hand picked and third is from newstand/comic book add on.

I lost another 3lb at WW this week so thats 9lb gone now.

A couple of new layouts to share the first is using Studio Calico Bibliography kit and pencil Lines Sketch 120.

And the second is using Studio Calico Fountain Square kit.

I am sad I didn't get to do any of the cybercrop over at UKS at the weekend, but I was working and didn't have the energy by the time I got home, I am going to go and have a look at the classes and maybe do some of the tonight.

Snow

Well as I thought most of the snowfall happened while I was in work on monday. We went out to wigg island on Tuesday to see if we could find enough snow to make a snowman, most of it had melted but we found the remains of a snowman so we put it back together and Matthew was happy. The photo of the bird sculpture thingy is also from wigg island.

Last night I rejoined weightwatchers, I originally joined in 2005 6 months after having Matthew and lost 3 stone in about a year. The weight has crept back on over the last few years and I now have 4 stone to lose this time. My photo for today is a full length photo of me for my weight loss journal I am planning on keeping, I will post it when I have lost some weight.

I want some snow

It has been trying to snow most of the day but it hasn't really stuck yet, I bet it will snow overnight and have disappeared by the time i get back from work tomorrow, I missed Matthew playing out in it last year, so I really want to build a snowman with him this year.

We went to the park today even though it was freezing cold, I love the look on his face in this picture.

I have been making paper bunting today with the sizzix bigz xl banner die for matthews birthday, I hand made some for christmas and it took forever, it is much easier with the die and it was a bargin £6.99 in the sale a hobbycraft.

Wow what a busy few days, Mattie was sick all friday night, we had the kitchen ceiling skimmed on saturday morning and then we had a suprise party for Hubbys 40th on saturday night. I am still sorting the photos and will update tomorrow. I am also trying to sort out a slideahow for this blog but haven't quite got it sorted yet.

I am loving the new scrapbook products being released soon. The October Afternoon Cherry hill range is one I will definately need to get my hands on along with Bungle Jungle from Sassafras.

Made with Studio calico Confections kit with circle stamp from looking glass kit and the punched circles are from the lovely stickers that came on the last kit.

Top two made with december Center stage kit and swan lake and christmas carol add ons. Bottom one made with Sassafrass life at the pole paper and stickers.

WooHoo we have the quote for the new kitchen and I can't wait to get it fitted now, the artist impression looks great. I got myself a twist stepper today as an attempt to get fit, it is hard work, i was worn out after about 5 mins.

I am going to go back to weight watchers in the next couple of weeks as i don't think the stepper is going to shift all the weight i need to lose.

Work was very busy over the weekend, and I think I am going to struggle with the photo a day challenge when I am in work, it's a long day and dark when I leave and come back, I am going to try and come up with a list of ideas for these days.

I have been down to the allotment today, just to check on it as the ground is still frozen so no digging yet. I took this photo of one of my sprout plants unfortunately the actual sprouts are a bit loose, I believe the ground needs to be packed around the plant firmly, oh well will try again next year.

Busy day today, we have been looking at kitchens, ours has been in need of doing for years so we are finally going to get it done, I think we have decided which one it is just going to be a case of getting a quote, sorting money etc now.

Todays photo is of one of my nemesis now fairies, I have started collecting them since hubby got me one a couple of years ago.

Oh my it was cold today. I took this photo at a pond near a local shopping centre.

I have spent most of the afternoon knitting a wolly hat which I have had to unravel about three time as I keep getting it wrong, I haven't kintted for about 4 years so I guess I am out of practise. I really want to learn to crotchet but cant seem to get the hang of it, I think I need to see it being done in real life, I am trying to learn from a book.
